Clean Smooth Skin was established in 2011 by Juliette Bellefeuille. It started at a time when Juliette was transitioning away from being a teacher's aide. She had worked in the retail side of the beauty industry, yet knew she did not want to keep doing either jobs.
One late night while watching infomercials, she had a lightbulb moment: she could start a spray tanning business. With less than $1,000, Juliette set to begin her new dream of helping people with their beauty needs. She was trained and certified under Julie Nostrand, the exclusive spray tan provider for ABC's Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). Through an esthetics program, she learned more about skincare and waxing, broadening her vision for her dream. She also met an amazing makeup artist, Chris Scott of Makeup Gourmet in San Francisco, who openly shared his space with her to build her Bay Area clientele. Chris not only motivated Juliette to have faith in her career, he also shared his kindness and his own passion of helping others through education of makeup application.
Since Juliette lived in Sonoma County, she found a location in the North Bay to see her spray tan clients. She was welcomed with open arms by Randi Bradley, a nail tech in the area. After graduating and getting licensed by the state of California in August 2012, Juliette found a part time job in San Francisco doing facial waxing. She established a location in Rohnert Park where she could do both spray tanning and waxing. She also decided for financial purposes to slow down her mobile business and have clients come to her at Jasmine's Multi-Cultural Beauty Salon. This location worked well, being close to her home.
Juliette continued to focus on waxing and spray tanning. She also volunteered her time with the Miss Sonoma County Pageant Scholarship Program in 2014, and moved her business to Solar Flair Tanning inside the Raley's Shopping Center in Rohnert Park. In September 2014, Juliette trained under Michelle Cate of Sugar plus Lemon in Napa, California and Sweet Professional Sugar. Through Michelle, Juliette discovered her passion for sugaring. She worked as an unpaid intern for a year to learn everything she could about sugaring, gaining unparalleled experience and knowledge through her internship.
In May 2017, Juliette became a sugaring educator with Tamara's Professional Body Sugaring. In less than six months, she has certified five people in basic body sugaring. She plans to continue sharing her excitement for sugaring with beauty schools and other salons in and around the San Francisco Bay.
Juliette has the desire to share and spread her enthusiasm for sugaring by teaching others correct technique and the importance of respecting the client, their body and time. She plans to continue working at her shop in Rohnert Park while certifying beauty professionals in body sugaring in the Bay Area. She believes that the beauty professionals she resonated toward along her career path have helped her realize how important the services offered must be done with care and precision. Juliette has become fully aware of how much she appreciates her clients' trust when they are at their most vulnerable, specifically during a sugaring or spray tanning experience. She gives each client the utmost respect, promoting a pathway to confidence so they can enjoy their appointment and become a regular client.
Juliette Bellefeuille is now going on six years in business and has added Professional Body Sugaring Educator to her repertoire. She plans on building her business, and looks forward to working with Tamara's Professional Body Sugaring and other beauty professionals in Northern California.
